Today we bring you an interview with Jason Williams, Co-Owner and Group Finance Director of Royale
Hi Jason, thank you for speaking to us about your Group! Could you give us a brief overview of your company and history?
“With over 70 years’ experience within the industry, we at Royale pride ourselves on the high standards of our developments and are proud to present to you our luxury park bungalows for the over 45’s.

That sounds fantastic! So how long has the business been operating?
“It’s a family business, and it was started in 1945!”
And which of the EliteParks modules are you using?
“We use EliteParks for leads bookings, online bookings, sales, owners, owners portal park management and finance.”
What were you using before you made the switch to EliteParks?
“We actually didn’t have much of a system at all! A lot of our systems were paper-based, with spreadsheets used too.”
What was it that caused you to consider using holiday park software for your group?
“The company is growing, and we acknowledged that we needed to keep ahead with the times and maximise the effectiveness of our day-to-day operations as we add more and more parks to our collection.
Elite Dynamics’ EliteParks solution was recommended to me by Sales and Marketing Consultant Jim Gandon following a conversation on Park Management software. They have a fantastic reputation, and seemingly the front-runner when it comes to innovation and quality.
I researched other systems including CampManager and Parcvu and there were aspects of those systems that I liked. However, because of the way we are structured with multiple sites and locations, EliteParks seemed to accommodate our needs the most.
I contacted Jamaine at Elite Dynamics. Two subsequent conversations later and a DEMO of the software and we signed up!”
Do you anticipate any challenges with moving from your previous system to a new software package?
“The main challenge for us is going to be staff training. We have a mix of age, educational background and technical ability across our parks and given many of them have only ever used paper-based systems, we anticipate a few hurdles to overcome as we roll out the system to our Parks.
That said because we are not coming from something i.e. we don’t currently use any software. To some extent, it will be easier. Staff know that it isn’t an option not to use the new system and it’ll be a large part of their job going forward. They understand that it’s good for business (and that’s why we’re doing it), so generally speaking, everyone is supportive.”
And what are the main benefits that you expect to see as a result of using EliteParks?
“Our business is growing at rapid speed. We currently have 32 Parks, but by the end of the year we will have 43.
The software will enable us to run more efficiently, which will no doubt save us money in the future. It also allows us more control, and makes it far more attractive for guests to book online which will no doubt help to increase revenue!”
