Coppergreen Developments Limited, operators of four holiday parks in the UK, is investing in technology to strengthen and futureproof the company for when it emerges out of the COVID-19 lockdown.
With encouraging signs that at least some elements of the holiday park industry could reopen as early as July, Coppergreen has recognised the importance of having its house in order to be in the best possible position to welcome new and returning holidaymakers and holiday home owners as soon as it is safe to do so.

New park management and CRM software is being rolled out across all four holiday parks to drive more direct bookings and maximise growth. This includes a new online booking facility, which will be fully integrated with Hoseasons.
In addition, on the flagship Piperdam Leisure Resort in Dundee, advanced software modules will soon see maintenance teams being able to manage jobs remotely, and on-park teams centralising information and controlling memberships and events such as golf and leisure subscriptions and weddings and corporate gatherings.
The technology is provided by North West-based Elite Dynamics, whose EliteParks suite of software solutions has been developed specifically for the Holiday Parks industry and is the most advanced Holiday Park management system available on the market today.
Powered and accredited by Microsoft Dynamics technology, the unique solutions have been specifically developed to facilitate the ongoing digital transformation of the Holiday Parks industry, as well as increasing revenue streams and improving efficiencies for holiday and caravan park operators, manufacturers and other key industry suppliers.

Sam Wall, Director of Coppergreen Developments Limited, said: “From the early days of Coppergreen, we always wanted to be a company that used technology as much as possible to take us where we wanted to go. We’re constantly evolving and although the lockdown is far from ideal, we’ve tried to respond as best we could and use this time to be more proactive as a business.
“If we can get to the end of lockdown and manage to have EliteParks software in place across all four of our parks, it will signal a complete business transformation. It will be a game changer for us not just in terms of business recovery but in taking the business forward.”
Used to working remotely, the Elite Dynamics team have been able to guide customers like Coppergreen through a range of software developments, upgrades, and product training whilst holiday parks have been closed.

Jamaine Campbell, co-founder and Commercial Director of Elite Dynamics, said: “We’ve never known a time like this for our industry and technology has really come into its own personally and professionally. We’ve all been using programmes like Microsoft Teams to keep in touch with colleagues and clients and it’s been great to have existing holiday park customers like Coppergreen proactively contacting us to find out how we can give them a competitive edge when they reopen. Business and park management software has come front of mind for holiday park industry operators, as no-one wants to be left behind when holiday home owners and guests can be welcomed back to parks.
“We’ve been really inspired by Coppergreen’s forward thinking and positivity during a particularly challenging time and it’s a privilege to provide them with the tools they need to drive their holiday parks forward. We wish them every success!”
