How long have you been working in the holiday park industry?
Since I got my Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Hull, I’ve spent over eight years working as a technical consultant for the holiday park industry. In 2009 I went to work for Prodware as a technical consultant alongside Jamaine, so really, I’ve been working with Microsoft NAV for eight years in the holiday park sector and other sectors.
In 2015, Jamaine, Nicola, and I set up Elite Dynamics and it’s been a fantastic journey since then, with exciting things happening every day. We’re always kept on our toes.
What does your role as Technical Director at Elite Dynamics encompass?
Being Technical Director means that I deal with all things technical. This could be anything from consultancy, coding, and development to updates and sourcing partners that can enhance the software. I also liaise with customers, along with their partners and third parties to come up with efficient business solutions for any technical problems they may have.
And finally, what’s your drink of choice in the office?
For me, it would definitely have to be a good cup of tea with a bit of milk and one sugar… and a chocolate Hobnob, of course.
