Some of the Elite Dynamics team attended the Holiday Park & Resort Innovation Show (HP&RIS) last month at Birmingham NEC. It was nice to catch up with some of our holiday park customers and introduce ourselves to prospective new industry clients.
MD, Jamaine Campbell and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Lead Consultant, Andrew Blackie held two seminars showing attendees ‘How to Futureproof your business with Microsoft Dynamics and The Power Platform’, which were well received by the audience of holiday park owners.
The HP&RIS is Europe’s largest event for forward-thinking holiday park owners, with 1,000 leading exhibitors and around 500 seminars held over the course of two days. Jamaine and Andrew walked the audience through some of the benefits of Microsoft Dynamics’ 365 platform, showing through supportive videos what the Dynamics software platform is and how simple it is to use. Jamaine explained that one of the biggest advantages of Microsoft’s Business Central – which is what our flagship EliteParks solution is based on – is its bespoke app store, where customers can download plugin apps in a matter of minutes to seamlessly integrate and operate with their software. For holiday park owners, this could be anything from QR readers to Docusign, adding value to them and their customers.
They also demonstrated how the Microsoft Power Platform – one of the multinational’s newer releases – works for holiday parks. There’s a wealth of reporting and analysis tools to benefit from, such as analysing sales performance by park, date, and salesperson. Power apps can also facilitate tasks like contactless check ins and the ability to take meter readings remotely on mobiles or tablets, which sync directly back to the system.
The seminars were well received and it was encouraging to see holiday park owners and holiday home manufacturers seeking us out on the stand, providing lots of positive feedback about our business solutions and how we’re offering a package that’s just not available elsewhere. There’s definitely a growing awareness of Elite Dynamics and recognition that we’re helping to educate the industry on what an IT business solution should be delivering to park owners. There’s greater appreciation that digitisation, integration, and automation can really impact a holiday park’s bottom line, which reaffirms our position within the industry. We also had some interesting conversations with a range of industry specialists including Awaze (Hoseasons) and Landal. Watch this space for some exciting new developments!
Most importantly, it was great to get back to attending events in person again, to meet customers and hear how our advanced IT business solutions are helping to transform our industry.
Technology at its most efficient.
