Five minutes with Elite Dynamics founder, Jamaine Campbell

Founded in 2015, Elite Dynamics creates market-leading, innovative IT solutions to the holiday home and parks’ industry. We use the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology and are the only IT provider of advanced holiday park management systems to be officially accredited by Microsoft. In 2020 we achieved Microsoft Gold partner status.

 

Here’s five minutes with our MD and co-founder Jamaine Campbell with his vision for Elite Dynamics and what we’re all about.


Why did you create Elite Dynamics?

 In a nutshell: to provide modern software solutions for holiday parks, which would not only serve their needs, but go above and beyond to help drive their operations forward.

Having worked in, and provided IT solutions to, the holiday park industry for over 20 years, it became clear to me that there was a huge gap in the market for modern, effective software solutions for holiday park operators. The market was saturated by archaic technology and systems, and I felt it was time to disrupt it and bring it into the 21st century.

 The idea was born, and the vision was shared by Jack Vernon and Nicola Campbell – so together, after a year of building the software, we founded Elite Dynamics and began our mission to revolutionise the holiday park industry!

What advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

 It’s hard to pick just one piece of advice – there is so much to give! However, my top tips would be to stay true to your core values; build a team of like-minded individuals who share your vision; and empower them to self-actualise both at work and in their personal lives.

Invest in both yourself and your team, whether that’s through training, mentoring or coaching; and remember that there is always something to learn, so become a pupil of your discipline and never take your knowledge for granted.

And of course, being as passionate about digital solutions as I am, I would absolutely say use IT to streamline processes and keep overheads to a minimum.

Finally, stay focused on the end results for you, your team, and your company.


What does the future hold for Elite Dynamics?

Continued growth! We have grown so much since our inception in 2015 and have no plans to slow down.

The last six years have seen us go from a start-up team of three to having 25 employees all working remotely around the UK and Canada. Over 250-holiday parks across five countries currently use our cutting-edge holiday park management software, and we are constantly developing new solutions to address common pain points and provide innovative new ways of working.

We are looking forward to moving into new markets and new countries and are busy aligning our solutions with the SaaS model as well as working with ClickLearn to wholly digitise our training platform, which will be a first in the holiday park industry.

Walt Disney famously said, “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world”. That’s how I feel about Elite Dynamics: as long as there are new customers and new software to work with, our solutions will never be completed. Instead, we will continue to innovate and grow. That’s what it’s all about!
