The holiday park industry is booming according to research by Ortus Secured Finance which has reported the UK’s 100 largest caravan, camping and holiday parks turnover increasing by 9% to £2.67 billion in 2016, up from £2.46 billion five years ago.
Elite Dynamics, creator of EliteParks, a software solution created specifically for the holiday park industry, are maximising this opportunity. Already this month, 3 new holiday park operators have made the decision to implement their software, including Shorefield Holidays based on the South coast in Hampshire.
Shorefield Holidays began their search for a totally integrated system that delivered for finance, operations and reservations last year. After meeting founder Jamaine Campbell, and having a demo of the software, they decided on EliteParks. Andy Bowden, IT Manager and Director at Shorefield Holidays said;
“We are extremely pleased with our decision to implement the EliteParks solution, I was very impressed to find a software solution that can be easily used in all departments and covers a significant portion of our business operation, ranging from Holiday Home Sales, Park Management, Holiday Sales and integrated Financial Management.”
Park Holidays and Holiday Resort Unity have also taken the decision to invest in EliteParks to improve reporting and efficiencies. Both operators were looking for a consulting partner from the holiday park sector with Microsoft experience. This demonstrates that the EliteParks solution is scalable for both multi-discipline income streams operating one park to multi park operators such as Park Holidays who operate 25 holiday parks. Intermediate Capital Group bought Park Holidays for £362 million last year and they have backed the investment into the EliteParks solution to achieve their goal of better transparency and analysis across the whole business.
Founded in 2015, Elite Dynamics have a combined experience of over 75 years within the holiday park industry. Based in Cheshire, founders Jamaine Campbell Nicola Blackie and Jack Vernon, realised there was a need for a total software solution that could work across every department within a holiday park, instead of different standalone systems for different departments. They set to work on creating a solution, now named, EliteParks.
EliteParks is built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV latest technology and is the most advanced Holiday Park management solution in the market to date and the business is growing rapidly with 2 new team members already this year, both with vast experience working in holiday parks across the UK. This year will also see them add further third party integrations to the software to ensure EliteParks becomes the chosen software for every holiday park across the UK and further afield.
Commenting on the growth, Jamaine said;
“The holiday park industry has seen a boost in recent years and with this expected to continue, it’s more important than ever for holiday parks to keep up with technology advancements. We recognised the need for a fully integrated system for holiday park operators, whether they manage one park or multiple parks across the UK, which is why we created EliteParks.
We want EliteParks to be number one choice for holiday park operators and we work closely with the industry to ensure our software is consistently meeting their needs now, and perhaps more importantly, will continue to do so in five, ten or twenty years time. ”
For the Elite Dynamics team, they’re looking forward to showcasing EliteParks at the Hoseasons event in November this year to give demonstrations to the many holiday parks across the UK. Further announcements of third party integrations such as The Sun Holiday and Breakfree Holidays will follow later this year.
